Time Trial

At the first turn following the starting line, drift to the right, making sure you stay as close to the edge as possible. Once you reach the straightaway, release your Mini-Turbo boost for a quick burst of speed toward the two Super Thwomps.

Drive directly between the two Super Thwomps as you go down the track. Make sure you have a shadow on either side of you as you go under them to avoid getting crushed!

After passing under the Super Thwomps, start a drift to the right and stay as close as you can to the edge without falling off. Hold this drift around the corner and try to collect as many coins as you can along the straightaway.

As you round the next corner, release your drift for a Mini-Turbo boost over the ramp ahead of you. Hop as you go over the ramp for another boost.

After jumping off the previous ramp, veer slightly to the left and jump over the next ramp. Again, hop as you go over the ramp for a speed boost.

At the next turn, drift to the left and hold it until you see the long straightaway with a Super Thwomp at the end of it. As the Super Thwomp slams down on the track, it sends out ripples toward you. If you time it correctly, you can hop over each wave for a Mini-Turbo boost.

Drift around the next turn, staying close to the edge. Hold this drift until you are on a straightaway where you can see two Super Thwomps ahead of you. Keep driving forward where it looks like you are going to drop off the track.

Use a Mushroom as you approach the ramp that is between each of the Super Thwomps. Hop as you go over the green arrows on the ramp for an extra boost; this will help you reach the track on the other side.

After landing from the jump, begin a drift to the right. As you round the corner, you will see another two Super Thwomps ahead of you. As you race for the finish line, keep your course to go directly in between each of the Super Thwomps. When you pass under them, you should see two shadows; as long as you stay out of those shadows, you will be safe.

Use the same tactics to complete the remaining laps. Keep your turns smooth and your jumps true!
