ROAD HAZARDS
Steep Drops: You’re in near-constant danger of falling off the track. Keep your jumps true and your drifts in check!
Chomps: Keep your distance from these massive Chomps! You’ll find a few of them near the end of section 2.
Asteroids: If you manage to glide through section 3, make sure you avoid these floating hazards.
As you might have guessed, Rainbow Road is one of the game’s most challenging tracks. Drift, jump, and glide your way through a single lap of perilous turns and disorienting angles. Most of the track is completely unfenced, so it takes a lot of skill to stay in the race. Don’t be afraid to use the breaks in an emergency—it’s better to slow down than to suffer a costly fall. You won’t find many shortcuts here, but there are plenty of dash panels to help you along the way.
