If you manage to get a Star from an item box, go ahead and cut corners and drive right through pipes. You will knock them out of your way along with any of your opponents!
Dropping a Banana between the oil slick and the side of the road is a great tactic for slowing down your opponents. They’ll need to carefully maneuver between both obstacles in order to not spin out!
Be careful following you opponents too closely; you may find yourself driving right into a Banana or Shell! Try to stay slightly to the left or right of other drivers to avoid this.
Red Shells can be extremely deadly on this track! If you are in the lead, make sure to always hold on to an item that can deflect a Red Shell, and keep an eye on that bottom screen to know what items your opponents hold.
