ROAD HAZARDS
Grass: By now you know that driving on the grass slows you down. On this course, however, the grass contains several other dangers. Obstacles like trees and signs will stop you in your tracks. If you venture too far off-road, you might just find yourself tumbling off the map! As always, you can use Mushrooms to boost across the grass—just make sure you have a clear path back to the road.
Ocean: This island course takes you through some perilous turns. An unfortunate fall can cost you the race; mind your drifts and glides!
Traffic Barriers: Steer clear of the traffic barriers placed throughout the course. Although these obstacles are intended to prevent accidents, you may find they have the opposite effect!
Vehicles: Keep your distance from slow-moving cars and trucks; your kart is no match for these full-sized vehicles!
Crates: A high-speed collision will smash these crates, but it will also bring your kart to a stop. Avoid them!
Drift, jump, and boost your way through Wuhu Loop! The track provides the fastest route, but alternate paths put your glider to good use. Unlike most events, this race takes place over one long lap. The course is divided into three sections, so use the Touch Screen to monitor your progress. If you’re not in the lead by the time you reach section 3, it’s time to pick up the pace!
