Stick to the left as you approach the first group of item boxes. You can expect some heavy jostling, so it’s best to stay away from the grass patch. As you approach the keyboard, veer to the right to avoid being knocked off the track.
As you drift along the first keyboard, keep your distance from the inside edge. If your opponents are particularly aggressive, consider jump boosting along the raised keys or using the banked strip. A Super Mini-Turbo is your best chance at an early lead, but it’s more important to avoid a costly fall!
The Piranha Plants love snapping at reckless racers. Each time you pass through this area, look for coins dropped by overeager opponents.
Although it can be satisfying to knock an opponent off the track, it’s generally best to avoid jostling along the keyboards. If the other racers aren’t causing trouble, focus on performing clean drifts—you’ll have plenty of chances to battle your foes in less dangerous areas.
As you glide past the bouncing notes, look for the item boxes flanking the grass patch. If your opponents are clearing out one of the lanes, move to the track’s other side. You have a great view of the area from up here—put it to good use!
