Time Trial

At the first turn from the starting line, start a drift to the left. As you hold the drift, you will come to a fork in the road. Take the path to the right, just under the rock turtle head.

Hold your drift through the entire bend in the track. As you turn the corner, you will see a dash panel ahead of you. When you get closer to the ramp, release your drift for a speed boost toward the dash panel. Angle yourself so that after you take the dash panel, you don’t land in the water.

Take the path that goes underneath the rock archway after landing from the dash panel jump. As you go forward, you’ll see a small sand ramp and a ramp with a glide panel over the water. Use one of your Mushrooms to jump off the sand ramp and land on the ramp with the glide panel. As you glide through the air, be sure to land in the small cave straight ahead of you.

As you reach the end of the cave, begin a drift to the left immediately before you fall off the edge. Keep holding the drift as you land and make your way toward the dash panel ahead.

Hold your drift until you line yourself up with the dash panel. As you glide through the air, fly over the turtle shell rock. Use the coin directly over the rock to guide your path, and grab it as you go by!

After landing from your glide, do an immediate drift to the left. Hold this just long enough to get a Mini-Turbo. Right after you release the boost, drift to the right. Hold this drift as you move toward the dash panels ahead of you.

Hit each of the dash panels that are located right before the finish line. Hop just as you leave each dash panel to get an extra boost of speed.

Tactics for Laps 2 and 3

Use the same basic tactics to complete the remaining laps. Adjust your racing line to collect needed coins, but try not to stray too far from the established route.
