Balloon Battle Tips
Watch out for the Rocky Wrenches around the course; if you run into one, you’ll lose one of your balloons! Try to stay clear of them if you can. They are located between each of the colored areas.
Driving in the middle of the course can be very dangerous! You leave yourself wide open with no cover. Don’t venture here unless you are feeling very brave or if you have a Star!
Coin Runner Tips
Perform a rocket start as the match begins. This will allow you to go straight for the single coin in the middle of the course. There is no risk involved since nobody will have an item yet. The only thing you have to worry about is a heavier character pushing you out of the way.
As you are grabbing coins, keep alternating between the outermost section of the course and the middle. Try not to stop! You’ll be an easy target if you do, allowing your opponents to hit you with a Shell and take your coins.
