Balloon Battle Tips
During the match, glide panels appear occasionally around the middle ring. This can be a great escape from another player chasing you, and you have the added benefit of collecting an item box from the center of the course. Just be sure to pass over the air vent in the middle to make it to the other side!
If you ever find yourself being followed, pull a U-turn! There is plenty of room on this course to turn completely around and gain a mini boost from drifting. You can also use this tactic if an opponent passes you and you wish to turn around and chase them.
Coin Runner Tips
Keep moving on this course at all times. Don’t stop for anything! Drift as you navigate the course to gain mini boosts.
Keep an eye on the timer! If you have only a short amount of time to spare, choose coins over item boxes. Earlier in the match it is important to protect yourself, so try to balance collecting coins and getting items.
