Shortly after leaving the starting line, begin drifting to the left to get a Mini-Turbo boost. When you receive the boost, start drifting to the right to gain another Mini-Turbo boost. Release the previous boost when you see sparks from your tires and begin another drift to the left. Use one of your Mushrooms as you go around the last corner, while still holding the drift. Release the drift as you approach the dash panels.
Once you land from the long glide, begin drifting to the right and directly through the pile of leaves. A coin will pop out along the path that you are drifting; collect it as you continue down the course.
As you approach the straightaway, release your drift for a nice Mini-Turbo boost toward the next turn.
After the straightaway, you’ll reach a path that winds up the tree. Perform a drift to the left and stay as close to the inside of the track as possible.
Navigate the treetop carefully, as there are two giant Wigglers walking around. If possible, drive through the piles of leaves to possibly pick up some more coins. Just avoid the Wigglers at all costs!
After leaving the treetop, begin a drift to the right. Keep drifting until you are lined up with the dash panel located on the track’s left side. Release the drift just before touching the dash panel, but make sure you are lined up with the second dash panel ahead. Weave from the first dash panel to the second one, making sure to drive over each one.
After receiving the boost from the second dash panel, begin a drift to the right. Hug the inner part of the track while collecting the coins along your path. Release your drift as soon as you see the portion of the track with three arrows on it. As you drive over the three arrows, hop just as you go airborne to gain an extra Mini-Turbo boost.
Keep heading straight through the course, making sure to grab any coins you can. Begin a drift when the road starts to turn left. You should have just enough time to get a Mini-Turbo boost just before you hit the glide panel.
As you land from your glide, keep driving straight. You’ll see a coin directly on top of a tree root. Grab the coin, and hop when you pick it up to get a Mini-Turbo boost.
Tactics for Laps 2 and 3
Use the same basic tactics to complete the remaining laps, but adjust your racing line to collect missed coins and avoid moving hazards. Perform big drifts to charge Mini-Turbos and Super Mini-Turbos, and use your remaining Mushrooms to cut over to the hidden path. Above all, make sure you stay out of that lake!
