Predator Scenarios

The situation often dictates or demands a stealthy approach, rather than beating everyone into submission. This is especially true when adversaries are all packing firearms, and in critical, hostage-type situations. In Predator environments, you want to dispatch enemies as silently and efficiently as possible. Played perfectly, the enemy simply doesn’t see Batman coming. Batman has the movement advantage over almost any adversary, being able to Grapple up to vantage points overhead or move quickly and silently under floor grates and through air circulation vents.

To the end of dispatching heavily-armed threats, Batman can accomplish stealth Takedowns from many different positions. Takedowns quickly remove threats from the field, non-lethally subduing them. You can sneak up behind an unaware foe for a Silent Takedown, or wait for them to approach Batman in cover before a Corner Takedown. Takedowns are possible hanging from below a ledge, or perched just above, and even from just under a grate in the ground, or just above one in the ceiling. There are a lot of ways to take out these terrorists that don’t involve them getting a chance to fire their guns or alert their accomplices. Predator room scores are improved by faster completion, by not being seen or triggering alarms, and by varying Takedown methods.

Detective Mode grants enough situational awareness to help overcome a dozen or more rifle-toting foes.

Catch patrolling sentries unawares and you can use Silent Takedowns to dispatch them without making a lot of attention-attracting noise. Thanks to the new Fear Multi-Takedown, you can get the drop on entire groups of henchmen and knock them all out before they can react.
