Armored militia vehicles and APCs are on the move on the Gotham streets. It’s up to you to run them into the ground. APCs are tougher, but they reward you with double points and time bonuses.

This is a free for all chase across Founders’ Island, with you in pursuit of a dozen fleeing militia vehicles. This is a different kind of demolition, since these aren’t unmanned drones. You just want to disable vehicles, not destroy them. Your primary tool for this in Pursuit Mode is the Immobilizer Gadget. After an initial button press to lock-on to a fleeing enemy vehicle, an additional press launches a homing Immobilizer round once the weapon is charged. If you use only Immobilizer rounds to disable a runaway truck, it’ll take two direct hits. If you mix in a little road rage action, smacking into the fleeing vehicle with the Batmobile and tagging it with side swipes, a single Immobilizer hit may be enough to kill their engine.
The Immobilizer is a reliable and nonlethal way to prevent militia targets from escaping, but it does require two hits to succeed.
When you encounter multiple militia trucks at once, lock on one of them with the Immobilizer while you try to run the other one off the road.
No car or truck can withstand a full-throttle impact from the Batmobile.
If you can put enough momentum into a collision, that’s the fastest way to disable other cars. If you’re chasing one militia vehicle and see another approaching, or crossing at an intersection ahead, feel free to hit the new vehicle head-on, or T-bone them. Their car will be instantly disabled, and the sturdy Batmobile will be fine to resume pursuit against the first target. You’ll have two and a half minutes to stop at least a dozen vehicles from fleeing, and each Humvee you take down adds three seconds to your time and each APC adds six seconds. Drive aggressively and be opportunistic about the militia trucks you chase and this should be an easy WayneTech Upgrade Point to earn.
