If you’re in the market for a brand-new weapon, it pays to know a little about Augmentations. Augmentations are mystical gemstones capable of imbuing weapons with great and terrible power—and, luckily for you, Albion is heaving with them. Most weapons in Fable feature slots to affix Augmentation stones, dramatically improving their effectiveness in combat. Be warned, though—binding an Augmentation to a weapon is permanent, so choose wisely. Some weapons—namely those of Legendary status, forged long ago and wielded by Albion’s most powerful Heroes—come pre-augmented. So that’s one less thing to worry about.
