As pleasingly picturesque as Greatwood might be, don’t let your guard down while wadering its sun-dappled trails. A single moment’s distraction is all it takes to find yourself swamped by swarms of Wasps or, worse still, Bandits. Tread cautiously as you work your way south, hacking through anything foolish enough to get in your way. Once the coast is clear, check out the dead end at Point A. Here, you’ll find three Health Potions, a Will Potion, and, stashed away in the chest, a Will Master’s Elixir—permanently increasing the size of your Will Energy Bar when consumed. If you’ve selected the Attack Orchard Farm quest (you scoundrel), you should follow the road south. Protectors, however, should head south-west, toward Greatwood Lake.
Trader Rescue
As you journey throughout Greatwood, you’ll encounter numerous travelling Traders—usually under attack from the area’s hostile fauna. Rescue them for a couple of Good points, and, better yet, to gain access to their many delightful wares. Expect reasonably priced items, including a couple of cheap Emeralds that can be sold for a profit elsewhere, plus better-than-average returns on any equipment trades.
