Now that you’re a fully qualified member of the Heroes’ Guild, the world of Albion awaits. Untold wonders lie beyond the great Guild doors but, as the old saying goes, an unprepared Hero is a dead Hero. Before you do anything else, grab the Wasp Menace quest card from the Map Table in the centre of the room—you’ll be needing it shortly. Next up, why not browse the Guild Shop or check out the magnificent Chamber of Fate? You can even open your very first Demon Door! Once you’ve had your fill of the Heroes’ Guild, though, return to the Map Room and pass through the large doors for your first proper look at Albion.
Chamber of Fate
The Guild’s imposing Chamber of Fate lies beyond the doors in the Guild Caves, accessible via the library on the ground floor. As you perform ever-more-mighty deeds around Albion, the room’s empty frames are filled with glorious frescos, depicting your most Heroic adventures. Pop back every so often to admire their artistry—and marvel at the wonder that is you.
Heroes’ Guild Demon Door
“Your path is dark. Only a light will reveal it. And you are not bright enough.”
You’ve already gone nose-to-face with the Heroes’ Guild Demon Door during the Foot Race side-quest. Now it’s time to see what treasures it holds. Simply make your way out back and use your Lamp (received during your graduation) in front of the Demon Door. Inside is the Library Arcanum, containing an Elixir of Life, a Howl Tattoo, and a couple of books to add to your collection.
Shopping at the Heroes’ Guild
Take a moment to investigate the Heroes’ Guild Shop—but don’t be too hasty to pull out your purse. As desirable as its wares are, Guild Shop items are far from a bargain, many costing up to 60 percent more than their actual value. You see, in Fable, there’s a considerable difference between an item’s worth and the amount it’s sold for around Albion. Asking prices fluctuates depending on a number of factor—from current stock to your Guile rank. Needless to say, with such a massive mark-up here, only shop at the Heroes’ Guild when absolutely necessary.

Lookout Point
Outside, in the fresh Albion air, you’ll spot the empty Boasting podium to your right (expect to see more of that later) and a curiously faceless Demon Door to your left (expect to see more of that later, too). When you’re ready to move on, head west toward the crossroads and take a moment to get your bearings.
From here, Bowerstone lies to the north, Greatwood to the south, and The Picnic Area to the west. Before setting off on your travels, though, it’s worth investigating the area a little more thoroughly. For starters, consider hacking through the brambles near Point A—there’s a narrow path beyond, leading to your first Silver Key. Only 29 more to go!
Lookout Point Title Vendor
Standing close to the Heroes’ Guild entrance (at Point B) is one of Albion’s two Title Vendors. For the cost of a couple of Gold, you can purchase a new Hero Title, meaning you’ll never have to hear the words “Chicken Chaser” again.

The Beggar and the Bully
There’s a bit of an altercation going on near Point A.Depending on how you resolve the conflict, you can shift your Alignment 20 points, either toward Good or Evil.
All the beggar wants is to be rid of his aggressor. A quick blast of your Fart Expression should do the job nicely.
If you’re more sympathetic to the bully’s plight, land a few savage blows on the bum to send him packing.
Once you’ve fully explored Lookout Point, you should make a start on your first proper quest. Follow the bellowing villager west until you reach The Picnic Area.
The Picnic Area
If ever a picnic could go badly wrong, this is it. Angry buzzing fills the air as basket-loving day trippers gasp their last gasp on the ground. Your first task is to deal with the Wasps in the area. Thankfully, they’re puny sorts and a couple of well-placed Melee blows will finish them off with ease.
If you’re finding them a little too nimble, though, auto-target is your friend here. Once the Wasp Queen arrives, switch to magic or your Ranged weapon and let rip. It should only take a couple of shots to bring her down, earning you the Wasp Queen’s Head Trophy as a reward. And who hasn’t always wanted an enormous, oozing bug head to call their own?
Once the area is free of giant, man-eating insects, scavenge the picnic tables for various food items, a Standard Beard card, and a Health Potion. Next, return to Lookout Point, where you’ll receive an urgent message from the Guild Master. The ever-demanding Maze requests your presence at the Bowerstone Tavern. Best not keep him waiting.
