All is quiet at Darkwood Lake—or so it seems. Beware, however, as some nasty surprises await careless Heroes. First, you should deal with the Bandits lurking at the end of the path immediately to your left, then smash up the treat-filled barrels and grab the Leather Boots from inside the chest.
Return to the road and continue south until you reach the water’s edge. Tread carefully here; as you splosh around, several groups of Bandits charge out from behind the rocks. They’re easy enough to take care of, however, so just put on your most fearsome face and kill every last one of them.
Before you return to Darkwood Marshes to collect the Traders, spare a few moments to relieve the lake of its treasure. There’s a chest containing 250 Gold and, near the southern-most bank, a strange glowing rock with a hole near its peak. Fling a single arrow through the opening and you receive a Silver Key for your efforts. Lastly, clock the Silver Key Chest just south-west of the currently sealed Darkwood Bordello entrance. Remember its position for the day when 15 Silver Keys are finally yours. When you’re done, grab the Traders then lead them through into Darkwood Camp via the lake’s south-eastern exit.
