Assassin's Creed Odyssey eGuide World Quests Naxos Island

The Writing's on the Wall

The Writing’s on the Wall

  • Recommended Level: 25
  • Quest Giver: Street vendor (Agellos)
  • Prerequisite: Unlocked during A Mother’s Prayers (main quest)
  • Unlocks: N/A
  • Location: Naxos in Ariadne’s Fate, Naxos island
  • Reward: Medium drachmae, rare bow (Bow of the Muses), medium XP, artist contract (trade good)
  • Story: The political situation between Naxos and Paros is tenuous at best. Some outspoken individuals have taken to creating propaganda art against Myrrine’s rule, and she has had enough.

Begin the quest by speaking to the street vendor Agellos. Then investigate the graffiti at three locations in Naxos. The first one is next to the quest giver, while the other two are along the street to the northeast—look for the crowds of civilians. After interacting with all three, return to Agellos. Next, head east to Routsouna Waterfall and enter the cave next to the lake. Watch out for the alpha bear inside. Look for a narrow opening along the left wall before the big cavern and squeeze through. It is obscured a bit by ivy, so it can be tough to spot. Find the artist, Lichas, along the left path and talk to him.
