The Stolen Steed

  • Prerequisite: Available once you enter Boeotia, but becomes unavailable after completion of The End of Drakon (main quest)
  • Unlocks: N/A
  • Location: Near the Thebes blacksmith in the Cursed Land of Oedipous, Boeotia
  • Reward: Medium or high drachmae, rare legs armor (Boeotian Greaves), medium XP
  • Story: The oil merchant had his horse stolen while on his last delivery. You have a vested interest in returning the horse so the merchant can complete his delivery to the Boeotian champion, Drakon.

Be sure to complete this quest before killing Drakon in the main quest. The street vendor asks that you find and deliver the horse Spyro to his owner. The horse is held in the Athenian Potnies Military Camp in eastern Cursed Land of Oedipous. Seven soldiers guard the camp, with Spyro standing on the east side. There is a gap in the back fence, allowing you to enter from the rear. Ride Spyro back to his owner. You do not receive armor if the horse dies. Upon completion of this quest, oil pots will be added to the location of the fight with Drakon.
