Phokis: Isle of Thisvi
Talk to Empedokles at the Cave of the Forgotten Isle on the south side of Phokis. Place the Olympos Key to open the gate to find the Cyclops, Brontes—The Thunderer.
The Cyclops is a giant with a powerful lunging arm swing, which can be avoided with evasive maneuvers, and a clap attack that sends waves straight ahead. This ability can be avoided with a sidestep. In close, he stomps his feet, causing rocks to fall from the cavern ceiling. Evade to avoid them.
Aim for the obvious weak point (his eye), though he will cover it if you take too long. He occasionally drops to a knee, providing an opportunity for melee attacks.
At 50% health, he fashions himself a huge club with a piece of the cavern wall. He swings the club, much like his previous melee attack. He also performs a powerful two-handed slam. Be sure to evade well out of range when you see him raise the club. This sends rocks down from the ceiling, so stay on the move until clear. He also has a 360-degree sweep.
Late in the fight, the rocks continue to drop, so watch for the falling dirt to signal where the rocks will land. Stay on the move to stay out of harm’s way. He also goes into a kind of rage mode, where he slams the ground and sweeps around more often. Remain clear as you move around the arena, and hit his eye with arrows.
Loot the Prize of the Cyclops. You are rewarded with a legendary heavy bladed weapon (Polyphemos Cyclops Bludgeon).
