Ainigmata Ostraka
Ainigmata Ostraka
Ainigmata Ostraka are obscure writings found on stone tablets in various locations. They can be found in easy-to-access places like simple dwellings, difficult-to-reach areas like underwater points of interest, or extremely dangerous areas such as forts and fortresses.
When you come across an Ainigmata Ostraka, you can interact with it. Doing so displays the text, which is a clue to finding the necessary point of interest to solve the riddle and find the engraving. Engravings can be used to boost the power of your equipment at blacksmiths.
The following table lists the Ainigmata Ostraka and their associated engravings. They are listed by region, in level order. Finding a particular Ainigmata Ostraka unlocks the listed engraving effect. As you find Ainigmata Ostraka of each engraving type, they increase in tier. For example, Happy Hour and Odor in the Court both unlock the burning duration effect. The first one you pick up will be tier 1, while the second will be tier 2 of that type, etc., so heading straight to the higher level regions won’t unlock higher tiers of engravings. It would also be insanely dangerous.
