The Great Contender

  • Location: Melos in Black Crescent, Melos Island
  • Reward: Medium drachmae, rare arms armor (One Hundredth Hand), medium XP
  • Story: To be victorious in the Battle of One Hundred Hands, you need to crush all those who stand in your way.

Follow Drakios and talk to him again. This sends you into a competition, where you must kill all other contenders of the battle (a bar in the upper-left corner shows your progress). A horn also sounds when one-quarter, one-half, and three-quarters of the contenders have been defeated. Take advantage of fights between the others. Pick off combatants from a distance, while they are distracted. Small packs of warriors will team up against you, so keep your distance until numbers are reduced. When around a dozen warriors remain, each fighter is marked on your HUD for an easier time tracking them down. Once all the warriors have been defeated, return to Drakios to face the final contender.
