- Story: Having interrupted the stoning of a religious fanatic, you learn of a man who claims he is a god and are asked to rescue him.

Find Empedokles by scanning Murex Fort in Aphrodite’s Watch, Kythera island. Eliminating guards can simplify the exit, but it is possible to free the fanatic and sneak out of the fort. Talk to Empedokles, follow him to his statue, and talk to him again.
Left to Dye

- Prerequisite: Complete A God Among Men
- Unlocks: Tunnel Vision chapter (only if you have met Pythagoras), Stairway to Olympos quest
- Location: Kythera Town
- Story: Empedokles, freed from his bondage, requests that you find his purple cloak—though it is the key hidden inside that is the most important item of all.
Kythera: Kythera Town
Find and acquire the key for Empedokles by killing the three men just up the hill and looting the Olympos Key from the man wearing the purple cloak. This group can be spotted by using Ikaros and searching for the man in the purple cloak as they move around the Murex Dyeing Facility. Return the key to Empedokles.
