  • Prerequisite: Return to Athens in Abandoned by the Gods (main quest). This quest is only available if you saved the family during The Blood Fever, a side quest for Phoibe.
  • Unlocks: N/A
  • Location: South Greater Athens, Attika
  • Reward: Rare staff (Hippokrates’s Staff), medium drachmae, medium XP
  • Story: Hippokrates fought a losing battle against the spread of the plague, but even through his task seemed hopeless, he never gave in. You pledge to help him cleanse the streets.

Enter the area to view a cinematic displaying the tragedy that has struck Athens. Talk to Hippokrates to find out he wants you to cleanse the infected areas by burning the six plague-ridden corpses within the exploration area. Toss a torch on each body to clear them out. While you’re dealing with these bodies, Followers of Ares attack. Kill them before finishing the objective.
