Dinner in Sparta

- Recommended Level: 43
- Prerequisite: Complete Where It All Began
- Unlocks: We Remember
- Story: After so much tension and strife, you finally find a moment away from your hardships. It is time to relax and sit down for a meal in an unexpected place—your childhood home in Sparta.

Enter your Childhood Home
Lakonia: Sparta
You find yourself outside the front door of your home (1) in Sparta as the previous quest (Where It All Began) ends.
Inside, you sit with Nikolaos, Stentor, Deimos, and Myrrine. Everyone is enjoying a good meal and the company. Deimos and Stentor get up to wrestle each other, which is your cue to go get more wine.

After the conversation you can access the Ship menu. Notice that Deimos, Myrrine, and Stentor are now crew members. Adjust their positions on the ship to maximize its stats. Completing this quest also unlocks the World & Characters quest We Remember, which we cover next.

Conversation with Barnabas
Outside you meet your good friend Barnabas. You tell him you can’t believe you got the family together. He tells you the gods work in mysterious ways; you can reply “I did this myself,” and take all the credit, or “The gods are watching us” and continue treating Barnabas as the friend he is. He mentions the others are waiting on the ship

We Remember
- Recommended Level: 42
- Prerequisite: Complete Dinner in Sparta
- Unlocks: N/A
- Story: You and Sokrates have gone through many things together, both good and bad. When you meet once again in Athens, Sokrates insists it’s all valuable and worth examining.
Meet Sokrates in the Cemetery of Athens
Attika: Athens
This is an Attika World & Characters quest. Fast-travel to the statue of Athena viewpoint (1) and then travel northwest out of Athens to find Sokrates (2) in the Cemetery of Athens. Talk to him.
Conversation with Sokrates
Sokrates greets you with a hearty “Behold, I’ve kept myself alive.” He asks you to follow him through the cemetery.
Follow Sokrates
Follow Sokrates as he heads south along a historical location, Cemetery Road, until he stops at a particular grave.
Conversation with Sokrates
Sokrates leads you to Phoibe’s grave, which you asked him to help with much earlier in the story. You thank him for the burial she deserved. The conversation moves to Perikles, who is buried in the same cemetery. You can say “I wish I’d known Perikles better” or “Perikles had his reasons.” Either is a fine choice. Brasidas’s and Kleon’s deaths come up next. The two of you walk off to celebrate with drinks.
Conversation with Sokrates, Alkibiades, Aristophanes, and Hippokrates
The party continues in Perikles’s residence (3) with Sokrates, Alkibiades, Aristophanes, and Hippokrates. During the reunion, Alkibiades comments on how you took out The Monger. You can select to drink to the following: “To us!,” “To progress,” or “To Athens!” Alkibiades hits on Sokrates before the conversation and quest end.
A Fresh Start
- Recommended Level: 44
- Prerequisite: Defeat all but one of the cultists
- Unlocks: N/A
- Story: With one cultist left alive, it’s time for you to fulfill your vow. To find the cultist, you are called to the place where you learned of their existence. You’ll have to go back to where it all began.
Enter the Cult of Kosmos’s Lair
Phokis: Grand Mount Parnassos
When you’ve killed all but one cultist, return to Phokis and enter the Cult of Kosmos’s lair (1) under the Temple of Apollo.
Approach the Pyramid
Once inside, follow the tunnel to the mystical pyramid, all the while hearing your mother’s voice call out to you from somewhere inside the cave.
You touch the pyramid and see a vision of Pythagoras (your Atlantean father). He shares visions of the past and future with you. He explains the balance of peace and chaos and how each extreme is necessary to the balance in the universe. His message is: Use the staff to repair the rift in the universe.
Surprisingly, Aspasia appears after you let go of the pyramid and the visions fade. She admits to being the last member of the cult and pulls a mask from behind her back.
Conversation with Aspasia
You can ask Aspasia “How could you agree with the cult?” and “Isn’t Deimos on your side?” before stating “I can’t believe you’re one of them.” She explains the cult wanted a clean slate but Deimos was messing that up. She explains how when she met you she discovered you were nothing like Deimos. She wanted your help bringing down the cult, which had become so corrupt.
You can respond “You’re just like them” or “This was a risky move” or “You meant no harm.” She goes on to say she has no idea how the pyramid works, but it does work and it replaced the Oracle of Delphi. She tells you that it showed her you destroying the pyramid and the cult.
You ask if Perikles knew she was in the cult. She says he was left in the dark about that. You can respond either “Better to keep him ignorant” or “You betrayed his trust.”
She wants you to join her, and her plan would require you to trust her. You can choose to let her leave the cult on her own by selecting “We need to destroy the artifact” or make her your next assassination by selecting “I’m here to kill you.”
If you join Aspasia and allow her to live, she walks off and you destroy the pyramid as she leaves. When control returns to you, you earn the golden statue (quest item) and Aspasia’s circlet. Aspasia is defeated as a cultist even if you don’t kill her. If you choose to kill her in the lair then she’ll run and you’ll have to chase her down or take her down with a few arrows. After killing Aspasia, you return to the pyramid and destroy it.
