  • Unlocks: The Great Contender
  • Location: Melos in Black Crescent, Melos Island
  • Reward: Medium drachmae, rare sword (Contender’s Blade), medium XP
  • Story: When you meet Drakios, the man behind the great Battle of One Hundred Hands, you will have to prove your strength before competing.

Find Drakios speaking in front of a statue in Melos (Black Crescent, Melos Island) and talk to him. If you haven’t completed training with Roxana on Hydrea island (complete Foot Race), you must pay 4,500 drachmae to enter. It is worth your time to travel to Hydrea island and complete the three quests. This provides quest awards, as well as the chance to hire Roxana to your crew. She will also assist in a later fight, if you allow her.
