Case 1-3: Insecurity

The arena isn’t far, but time is short. Speak to Rebecca to have her lead the way to Fortune City Arena’s security room.

Tip

If you can’t get enough of skateboards, pick up the Skateboarding magazine that rests on the coffee table in the hotel lobby—this increases the durability of skateboards and allows Chuck to ollie over obstacles.

We prefer Quick Step juice drinks to get us where we’re going, but skateboards can certainly help quicken the pace as well.

You can find a convenient supply of skateboards at In The Closet, which is right near The Dark Bean in Royal Flush Plaza, and therefore easy to visit as you move to and from the Safe House.

Rebecca cuts through South Plaza, which is still under construction. Before getting very far, she leads Chuck to a nearby restroom— save your game and then speak to Rebecca afterward to get moving again.

Tip

Continue to avoid confrontations with zombies as you rush through South Plaza. In fact, unless otherwise stated by this walkthrough, you should always avoid combat with zombies unless it’s absolutely necessary.

The arena is sealed up tight, but the resourceful reporter manages to open the gate. Continue dodging zombies as you follow Rebecca to the security room, then examine the door.

The security room is locked as well, but that won’t stop a reporter of Ms. Chang’s talents. Rebecca quickly produces a tool and picks the lock.

SPOILER : Inside, Chuck and Rebecca find the security room torn to shreds, along with the men who were stationed there.

Someone didn’t want any evidence of what really happened being left behind, and the absence of any bite marks makes it clear that no zombies did the killing here. Chuck gets a call from Stacey, urging him to return to the Safe House. Looks like this lead has gone cold.
