Miracle drug Zombrex has made it possible for the wealthy to avoid the horrors of zombifcation. Even if a person has been infected by a zombie, they can prevent themselves from “turning” by taking a prescribed dose of Zombrex once every 24 hours.
Chuck’s loving daughter, Katey, must be given a shot of Zombrex every day between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM. Failure means a tragic end to Chuck’s tale.
Zombrex is priceless to those in need, and is therefore extremely expensive and hard to come by. Chuck can acquire Zombrex by completing certain tasks or by fnding hidden stashes of the drug.
In a pinch, Zombrex can be purchased at a pawnshop for a tidy sum. When the clock nears 7:00 Am, drop everything and start looking for Katey’s medicine.

PAWNSHOPS
Wily looters have capitalized on the Fortune City tragedy by setting up pawnshops in various locations around the quarantine zone.
All pawnshops are shown on your in-game map; complete the “One Man’s Trash” side mission to gain access to them, then stop by and browse the special items each one offers.
Though everything’s sold at an absurd markup, pawnshops are a reliable source of obtaining Zombrex for little Katey. The frst dose will cost you $25,000, and the price increases by that same amount for each subsequent purchase.
MAKING MONEY
As you might expect, earning cash isn’t very difficult at Fortune City. Rarely will Chuck fnd himself in desperate need of dollars, but with so many expensive items for sale at pawnshops, it pays to know how to stockpile some serious scratch.
Casinos are a good start. Here you’ll find countless slot machines, which Chuck can bash apart for bucks.
Casinos also host some of the more profitable minigames; see the poster map for their locations, and check the “Unearthing Fortune City” chapter for details on every game.
ATMs are excellent money sources as well. Smash one to have it cough up $2,500—not too shabby, but you can withdraw even more with the use of a hacker.
Build one of these combo weapons by merging a flashlight with a computer case, and carry it with you so you may zap any ATMs you see to score $10,000 from them instead.
Karma equals cash in Fortune City, and completing certain side missions can make Chuck rich beyond his wildest dreams.
Earn piles of moola by completing the following side missions, especially “High Rollers,” which has Chuck walking away from the poker table with a cool million!
