Scenic Fortune Park, where the sun is always shining and the birds are always singing. A perfect centerpiece to fantastic Fortune City and a great place to take an afternoon stroll, see the sights, and breathe in the fresh desert air.
POINTS OF INTEREST
1. MAINTENANCE ROOM 11
Fortune Park’s south maintenance room contains a bowie knife and a pair of boxing gloves, allowing you to shred through zombies with an awesomely lethal set of knife gloves.
A stick of dynamite and a hunk of meat lie on the ground just outside; combine these to form some dynameat.
2. MAINTENANCE ROOM 12
another lawn mower rests just outside of the central park’s maintenance room, along with a leaf rake. inside there’s a battery and two 2x4s.
Combine the battery with the leaf rake to form an electric rake, and rig the lawn mower and a 2x4 together to build an extremely nasty porta-mower. There’s a magazine inside this maintenance room as well, Domestic, which increases the durability of furniture items.
3. MAINTENANCE ROOM 13
A can of spray paint and lies just outside of Fortune Park’s north maintenance room; inside you find a fire extinguisher and a pylon. This allows you to build a head-bursting air horn (spray paint + pylon).
Combine the fire extinguisher with one of the numerous water guns found in watery sections of the park to form a snowball cannon.
4. HAVING A BALL
A strange-looking wireframe ball stands on a platform just south of maintenance room 13. Use the nearby pedestal to play a unique minigame called motion madness, in which Chuck enters the ball and rolls around in place like a human hamster.
Follow the onscreen commands to roll the ball in various directions until the game ends and Chuck exits the ball a winner, pocketing some easy PP.
Beat the Motion Madness Minigame three times for a special treat: Chuck not only earns a boatload of PP, but also gets to remain inside the ball afterward, where he’s able to roll all around the park!
Let the good times roll as you smash through zombies for as long as the ball lasts.
5. GRASS STASHES
Many useful items are stashed in the grassy patches around Fortune Park.
Examine the grassy ledge along the south wall to discover a football and two grenades — use these to make a hail mary that can score you big points around here.
Two fenced-of grassy areas lie to the south of the central grotto. there’s a stick of dynamite hidden in the one to the east, and two grenades are found in the one to the west.
You’ll also find a deadly chain saw and a useful 4x4 near the west patch of fenced-of grass.
A lawn mower awaits in the grass that’s just south of the central grotto, and four lawn darts are close by.
Combine a lawn dart with the aforementioned dynamite to build a sticky bomb, and have as much fun with the lawn mower as you like, perhaps combining it with that other 2x4 inside of the central maintenance room for a second porta-mower.
Finally, explore the grass to the north of the grotto to locate another football, along with a rare leaf blower.
Use the football to form another hail mary; the leaf blower can be combined with any parasol to construct a high-powered parablower.
