Abilities: Circular Power Discs
Usage: Placed underneath the character on the Disney Infinity Base.
Ability discs are circular red discs that grant special power-ups that can be used in the Play Sets and in the Toy Box. These provide special perks but do not change the look of the character or world in any way. When these discs are first placed under a character, or if you swap characters, a message will pop up on-screen stating what powers you have equipped. You can place two of these discs under a character (for a maximum of four discs between two characters) to get unique combo perks or you can stack two of the same disc on top of each other to multiply its effect!
Toys: Hexagonal Power Discs
Usage: Placed in the hexagonal slot on the Disney Infinity Base.
Toy discs are hexagonal discs that unlock gadgets, weapons, vehicles, and more in the Toy Box. However, these toys will only appear when the hexagonal disc is on the Disney Infinity Base. Remove the disc from the base and the unlocked item goes away.
Customization: Hexagonal Power Discs
Usage: Placed in the hexagonal slot on the Disney Infinity Base.
These discs provide numerous ways to personalize the atmosphere of the Toy Box. Customization discs come in two types: one that alters the Sky Theme and another that alters the Toy Box’s textures. Changing the Sky Theme alters the sky background and music to match the theme of the disc. The texture disc changes the land and terrain to create a new visual theme.
