One of the Aliens was lost during the violent volcanic eruption and you must find him. Use the compass to track the missing Alien and start the hunt, leaping up the nearby ledges to get to the higher plateau.
From this higher vantage point you should easily spot the missing Alien. Double jump to the floating platform, pick up the little green guy, and return him to the mission-giving Alien.

Type: Sightseeing
Wii Reward: 50 Crystals
This mission is basically a tutorial on using the teleporter pads. Pick up the Alien and use the nearby tele porter to take it to the top level of the City.
New Challenge Available: Cliffside Collect
There are a lot of Alien retrieval and escort missions, and as the story progresses they become increasingly difficult. If you run into trouble, get to the highest spot you can to scout for a beacon or green arrow.
Side Mission
Crystal Smash and Bash

Type: Locate

Wii Reward: 25 Crystals
This is a simple mission designed to enforce the fact that the blue crystals break into smaller pieces that are used as currency to buy toys. Use the shoulder charge or ball toss to smash into three clusters of crystals to complete the lesson.
