Zero Point Power Up
- Mission Giver: Mirage
- Type: Buy/Combat
- Rewards: 100 Coins / 50 Sparks
- Wii Rewards: 100 Coins
Thanks to all your valiant efforts, the secrets to Syndrome’s Zero Point Energy weapon have been unlocked. Buy it at the Toy Store and get ready to put it to the test. Syndrome drops off several Omnidroids for target practice for your new toy. Get out of the middle of the group, quickly target one of the robots, and hurl it into the group of other droids. You can expect a lot of laser fire from these massive Omnidroids. The best thing you can do is get in back of them and toss them around to split them up. Don’t bother trying to attack them. Just pick them up and toss them around as fast as you can.
The Final Showdown
- Mission Giver: Cop
- Type: Combat
- Rewards: 2,500 Coins / 300 Sparks
- Wii Rewards: 1,000 Coins / 25 Sparks
The cop at the HQ thinks it’s about time to take on Syndrome directly. Use the compass to track him down for a final confrontation. He is on top of a building that can be tricky to climb. Climb up to the rooftop near the building he is on and jump across to the scaffolding with the sunny billboard.
Slide across the black wire to the other scaffolding and climb the brown stone ledges on the light-colored building.
On the rooftop use the Hover Board to make it to the other side to find Syndrome.
Round 1
The first round against Syndrome starts out slow. He tosses purple energy balls that explode with a sizeable area of effect. To deal with this attack, continue running back and forth on the rooftop so he can’t get a bead on you.
He will also drop two robots on the roof, but this is actually a good thing. Pick one up with your Zero Point Energy Gauntlet and hurl it at him!
Round 2
Syndrome will still toss the exploding spheres and drop a pair of droids on your side of the roof, but he has a trio of rocket-launching Omnidroids on his side that make it impossible to hit him until they are gone. Between Syndrome’s attacks and the rocket barrage, it is very tough to have a chance to pick up one of the robots to throw at Syndrome. Remember that both of these attacks can be blocked as well as dodged.
Timing is everything during this battle and it takes practice and experience to know when you have a clean opportunity to toss one of the droids. The good news is that as you destroy the rocket-shooting robots on his side it becomes easier to launch your robots.
Round 3
For the final round, Syndrome calls in two laser-shooting Omnidroid Tanks. Luckily they are not as fast at firing their beams as the rocket Omnidroid Tanks were at shooting you. However, what they lose in speed they more than make up for in durability as it takes several hits from your robots to take out those laser-shooting tanks. Dodge the beams by racing back and forth, but make sure to have plenty of room to roll in either direction.
The most threatening attacks are the lasers, but there is a slight pause between when one Omnidroid finishes and the other fires. Use this delay as the prime time to toss one of your robots at them. Of course, Syndrome may throw one of his energy balls at that moment, but there is a good chance the robot you are holding would block it. It is important to note that you can use the robots on your side as a shield to some extent, but you are better off tossing them as soon as you get a chance.
When all of Syndrome’s Omnidroid Tanks are gone, toss one last robot at him to finish him off.
