Chick wants to race you to The Barn, but it’s not really a race. Take your time to get there and follow the green arrow to find him out front.
Drive to the Farm (Wii Only)

Follow the GPS system to a cave that takes you to The Farm. Once you arrive, you have completed this mission.
Take a Practice Lap

Chick is all about racing and he wants to challenge you to a spin around town. However, out of the pure generosity of his motor he will let you take a practice lap first, so you don’t hurt yourself. There is no pressure on the practice lap around Radiator Springs, so take it easy and learn the course.
Chick’s Challenge

Talk to Chick and get ready to race for real this time! Rev your engine to max out the turbo meter and take first place from the start of the race. However don’t expect to hold that spot for the entire race. Chick is very aggressive and he may overtake the number one spot. Don’t give up even if your car goes off the track or falls into second place. The race is meant to be close and with three laps there is a lot of opportunity to retake the lead. One good spot to use is the springing platform in front of Sarge’s Surplus Hut. This tricky spot will hurl your vehicle into the air, allowing your car to cut across a bit of the track and gain an advantage.
Drift into every corner to fill the turbo meter and blaze across the field to cut off sections of track to gain a bit of an edge. Keep in mind that in general cars will always go faster on the track versus cutting corners in the grass or dirt. This race is very forgiving in terms of straying off course and there are a few alternate routes that can be taken as long as your car is close to the track.

It is time to head back to the Town from The Farm to find Luigi. Drive back to the cave on the side of The Farm area to get back to the Town area.
