Disney Infinity 2014 Revised Edition Guide › Playsets › Toy Story in Space

Build the Research Station

Research Station Crate Crash

Note

This crate crash is one of the toughest as it extends the range of exploration into the Canyon. In fact, it will require the teleporter at the Teleporter Dish or the jetpack/rocket booster from Goo Valley.

Mission Giver: Alien Mechanic

Type: Destroy

Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks

Wii Rewards: 50 Crystals / 50 Sparks

The first is out in the Waterfall area and it would be easy to boost or fly to get to it, but if you want, you can reach it with a long toss of a ball from an accessible platform near the edge of the waterfall.

The rest are located in the Canyon, so either fly over with the jetpack or use the teleporter to warp to the Canyon.

On a tall rocky ledge is the second crate, which can be accessed by jumping up the pillars next to it.

To the left of those stony pillars is another crate on top of a rocky archway in a somewhat hidden part of the Canyon.

The next crate is near the far wall near the Alien and rocket house. Jump across two small platforms towards the little green guy and follow the nearby stream behind the waterfall to get to the crate near the blue egg.

For the last one, backtrack to the teleporter and drop down to the area below near the water’s edge. The large rocky mesa next door holds the last crate on the bottom.

Wii NOTE

Research Station crates are in different locations as follows.

Go to the western edge of the City near the waterfall to find the first one.

Make a quick right turn following the mountainside to find the next one.

The third is in the stream to the west of the Shield Generator. If you have the rocket booster it will make it a short trip, otherwise you need to leap up like you have many times before.

Your next target is the crate on the large slanted slab of rock.

Finally, follow the rocky wall or fly to the left to reach the last crate.

New Toy Unlocked: Research Station

Note

When this mission is completed, several new missions will unlock at Goo Valley. Make sure to head back there to complete the rest of that area as soon as you can.

Side Mission Diversions

Secret of the Clothing Store

Wii NOTE

Mission not available for Wii.

Mission Giver: Alien

Type: Platforming

Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks

The mission is pretty straightforward: find the secret area on the Clothing store. Climb the dark-colored area of the building to get to the roof and leap on top of the three cylindrical peaks.

Each time you get to the top of these little towers, the light on it will turn blue showing you have activated it. When all three lights are blue, a red capsule with the Stinky Pete Hat will appear and the mission will be completed.

Bullseye Caves In

Mission Giver: Alien

Type: Platforming

Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks

Wii Reward: 100 Crystals

The tough part about this mission is getting Bullseye high up in the mountains since the horse can’t climb. However, with the Teleporter Dish completed you can warp to this spot in an instant. Press the IN button to show the image on the screen below and zip to the cavern in the mountains.

Rocket Booster Ride

Mission Giver: Twitch Alien

Type: Platforming

Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks

Wii Reward: 50 Crystals

The Alien on the right ridge to the entrance of Goo Valley wants to go high into the sky. Pick up the little guy and use the rocket booster to jump through nine green rings.

Wii NOTE

This Alien in the Canyon wants to jump up through three green rings.
