Save the Aliens and Build a Base

Power the Tower

Mission Giver: Rex (automatic)

Type: Locate

Rewards: 25 Crystals / 100 Sparks

Wii Rewards: 25 Crystals / 50 Sparks

Upon beaming down to the planet’s surface, you and the rest of the inhabitants are assaulted by a barrage of volcanic debris. The only way to keep the Aliens safe is to activate the Shield Generator. This is a three-part mission, and when you accept the quest, the green compass arrow will guide you to jump across and up a few ledges to reach the Shield Generator.

At the base of the Shield Generator, pick up each of the two batteries and toss them into the bottom of the tower, which has an image of a battery.

The Shield Generator will fully extend and become operational when the batteries are inserted. The only task left to complete is to ride the elevator up to the top of the tower and push the IN button to activate the shield.

Build-A-Lot

Mission Giver: Hamm

Type: Platforming

Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks

Wii Rewards: 100 Crystals / 50 Sparks

Now that the inhabitants are safe from falling debris, it is time to build a fully operational space station on this new planet. This is a lot easier than it sounds as it just requires creating a building lot for Rex by constructing a level area with floor pads. Rex will automatically beam down the floor pads, but they are scattered all over the place. To set up the floor pads, you first need to power the Construct-O-Lot with a battery. Using the compass, locate the battery and throw it into the empty battery slot.

Each set of floor pads assembles by itself once you get to the top of the Construct-O-Lot and push the red button. To get to the shiny red button, jump up the floating floor pads. The first set of pads is very straightforward and a few jumps will get you to the top quickly. Each time you attempt to assemble another building lot, the pads will be placed in an increasingly difficult arrangement to navigate. Jump on the shiny red button on the top of the Construct-O-Lot and watch the floor assemble automatically to complete each set.

Note

When the first set of floor pads has been placed, a teleporter will be installed at the far edge of the new flooring. This is a handy tool to beam down to the planet’s surface, especially later in the game when all of the caverns below are covered with floor pads. Likewise, the matching teleporter below can be used to instantly warp back up to the City.

Wii NOTE

Delivery Platform not available for Wii.

New Toy Unlocked: Delivery Platform

Platform Purchase

Mission Giver: Hamm

Type: Locate

Reward: 50 Crystals

Wii NOTE

Mission not available for Wii.

Star Command protocol requires all interplanetary shipments to be made to an official Star Command Delivery Platform. In other words, all toys must be delivered to this special platform. Fortunately, you just unlocked this toy in the last mission and you can enter the Toy Store to buy it for a mere 25 crystals.

Wii NOTE

The Delivery Platform does not appear in the Wii version.
