You Floor Me
Mission Giver: Slinky Dog
Type: Platforming
Rewards: 100 Crystals / 100 Sparks
Wii Rewards: 100 Crystals / 50 Sparks
Unlocking all those buildings from the crate crashing mission leaves you plenty of options to expand your City. However, you will need to get more “floor space” to put all these structures. Talk to Slink about constructing a third building lot by assembling more floor pads. The goal is the same as the previous mission—you simply need to get the battery and toss it into the base of the Construct-O-Lot.
Leap up the staircase of floor panels, but this time around several of them will rotate in mid air. Jump on the moving panels and ride them to the stationery one across the way to continue your trek to the top and that big red button.
The planet’s volcano just doesn’t know when to quit! All of the pent up underground pressure is causing the surface to split and to start filling up with goo. Hamm is the resident geology expert (due to his extensive reading of Andy’s textbook) and he takes on the mission to explore the new fissure leading to Goo Valley.
Side Missions: Before You Goo to the Valley
Egg Spotted!
Mission Giver: Slinky Dog
Type: Fetch
Rewards: 50 Crystals / 100 Sparks
When the Hatchery is built, talk to Slink to get this mission. Carefully navigate the crates near the right ridge and locate the red egg with a white circle. Pick up the precious cargo and return it to the blue pad at the Hatchery.
When the egg has been placed, press the big IN button on the Hatchery to activate the machine and hatch the egg. Your reward is releasing a brand new critter to inhabit the planet and live among the Aliens.
Spore Search
Mission Giver: Twitch (Bug) Alien
Type: Fetch
Rewards: 50 Crystals / 50 Sparks
Speak to the Alien dressed in a green bug costume to get the mission to gather pollen from the Spore Plants. The mission requires ten spores and fortunately there are two clusters of plants on this ridge. Bust open a group of Spore Plants and reveal the tiny pink spores. Collect as many as you can and go to the other group or simply wait for the plants to regenerate.
