Mine Blast
- Mission Giver: Sheriff
- Type: Train Delivery
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins / 175 Sparks
Butch Cavendish and his men are holed up at the silver mine and it is time to take care of them once and for all. To do that you need to load up the TNT Car with plenty of explosive power and blow up the entrance to the silver mine. Make sure the TNT Car is placed on the train and the TNT station is ready to fill the car.
Then, make sure the track switch near the silver mine entrance is pointing towards the boarded-up entrance. It should switch when the TNT is loaded and the train is heading down that track.
Nowhere to Hide
- Mission Giver: Sheriff (automatic)
- Type: Combat
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins / 175 Sparks
Follow the train into the silver mine and climb up the hills to turn the Gatling guns and cannons on the Cavendish Gang.
The full description of the mission is very important to pay attention to. It clearly states to use the guns to destroy their hideout at the silver mine, not the bandits. In fact, the bandits will just keep regenerating no matter how many times you shoot them. It can take a while to figure that out if you jump early on the big guns and open fire. The real objective is to use the Gatling gun to take out the red targets around the small buildings and then switch to the cannon to hit the green target and finish it off. However, this doesn’t mean you can ignore the bandits because they can still hit you and even wreck your Gatling gun, causing it to smoke or light on fire.
The first building to fall is the one on the bottom level in the center. After that is gone, wipe out a bunch of the bandits to trigger the next targets.
The other three buildings will sprout Gatling targets and can be taken out in any order. Try to hit the Gatling targets as quickly as possible to reveal the green cannon target and move on to the next.
Finally, when all four buildings are gone, take out any straggling bandits. To finish the job, there is one more cannon target to shoot in order to close the book on Butch Cavendish.

Minin’ for Silver
- Mission Giver: Camp Foreman
- Type: Platforming
- Rewards: 100 Coins / 50 Sparks
The foreman came across a secret cave high in the hills that is full with silver. He is happy to share the silver up there if you can get to it. Getting to the four spots where the silver is hidden will be easy if you can get the Crow Wing Pack, but it IS possible to get to all of them without it—it’s just a lot harder!
Go to the silver mine area and enter the cave where you destroyed Cavendish’s men and buildings. Follow the tracks until you emerge back outside and immediately look to your right to find the first batch of silver.
One of the stashes of silver is pretty easy to get to. This one is hidden in the far end of the mine and simply requires a few double jumps onto some ledges.
The third one can be found with some basic platforming. Jump up the narrow passage in the hills and shoot the dynamite to clear a thin ridge you can climb around.
Leap to another ledge in the giant rock and run onto the wooden platforms. Jump up to the ledge and get up to the top tier to find the third stash of silver.
This final stash is where flying would be really useful, yet it can be found on foot if you are careful. Start out by jumping on the slanted part of this building, jump down to the balcony, and run around the building.
This is where it gets tricky. Run around to the corner of the building near a large rock. Walk up to the corner of the very edge of this area (not on the boulder) and jump to the rock next to the roof.
Jump onto the chute and slowly walk all the way to the end of the line. It is very easy to fall off, so take your time!
Leap down to the roof below and slide down the long roof panel to a smaller section of roof right next to the tracks. Perform a long double jump to land on the track and follow it towards the green arrow.
When the track breaks up, carefully step along the remaining wooden beam to the left. Take it nice and slow until you can double jump to the other side of the track.
Finally, use one more long double jump to get to the last stash and clear the mission without the ability to fly.
Dry Spell

Crow Wing Ability
- Mission Giver: Automatic
- Type: Platforming
- Rewards: 1,000 Coins / 50 Sparks
This is sort of a hidden mission that runs throughout the adventure. There are five special totems to find in the Play Set, and once you have encountered them all you will gain the ability to fly!
The first totem should have been found when searching for the nests during the Clearin’ the Lines mission. Outside of Colby you can climb up some wooden planks on the side of the mountain and go up several more planks to a high ledge.
The second totem is easy to find but also easy to overlook. The canyon near Colby had some Cavendish boys lurking around, but you probably didn’t go all the way around the fire into the small alcove where it hides.
The third totem is also easy to find but is out of sight at Red’s Traveling Entertainments. Next to Red is a brown building that obscures this totem to the left of it.
The next one is NOT easy to find and your only clue is that you might have noticed the planks on the left side of the wall when visiting the miner. There are a series of ledges below that hide the fourth totem as well a few boulders that lead to a little island. The planks on the side near the miner can be used to climb down to the find the totem and get back up.
The last one is also hard to notice because it is really high up. Go to the Railroad Camp and climb to the area where you went to meet the Silent Warrior and used the Gatling gun. However, instead of climbing the wooden planks, run out towards the hills to the left.
Run as far as you can along this path to a notice a tower on a ridge and a series of wooden planks you can climb.
To get to the top of this tower you need to leap up the wooden structure by climbing up boards and moving around to the sides to continue your ascension. It is not a simple climb straight up. Expect to have to maneuver around the tower as you go higher. The prize at the top is the Crow Wing Pack.
The prize was certainly worth all the effort because the Crow Wing Pack grants the ability to turn into a crow and fly across the entire Play Set to collect all capsules.
