Each Play Set has its own unique Tools and Packs, but they are all equipped the same way. Except for vehicles from the Cars Play Set, everyone can equip one Tool and one Pack at a time. The Tools are held in the character’s hand (which would be tough for a car!) and the Packs are something the character wears on its back (or, in the case of Cars, somewhere on their chassis). These can be set up with a quick swap on the directional pad to toggle them on and off. While you will generally want to use these awesome upgrades, you have to be aware that it will replace the default functionality of a button press. For example, when one of The Incredibles has the Hover Board active, he or she cannot use a regular attack. Ultimately the extra power of the Tools and Packs will replace your common moves, but being able to toggle back and forth with a quick swap is essential to rounded gameplay.
