There is an informant in the city that you need to meet. She knows a contact inside Syndrome’s organization who is willing to defect to the side of the good guys. Use the compass to find the female informant, but it is not safe to talk in the open. Follow her up to the roof and grind across two power lines to a safe area.
The defector is waiting on a nearby rooftop on a very tall building. Using the compass, locate the tall building and climb up to the rooftop of the light tan building next to it. Leap onto the air conditioner and double jump up to the next air conditioner to gain access to a pipe leading to the roof of the building next door.
The mysterious defector can’t speak in the city. She will meet you back at HQ.

Mayor Side Missions
Yacht Party
- Mission Giver: Cop
- Type: Platforming

A cop across from the docks will inform you that the Mayor is late for a fund-raising event and needs you to get him there fast. The mission will automatically warp you to a rooftop at the dock with the Mayor nearby. The goal is to pick up the Mayor and get him to the boat in 30 seconds. There is a blue capsule nearby that will demonstrate how to dive bomb and swoop to gain more distance and height from gliding.
The concept behind swooping is to use the speed of diving down to ricochet you back up, allowing you to go further than simply slowly gliding downward.
Mayor Menace

The Mayor is roaming the streets in dire straits. He has to get home before his wife or he will be in big trouble. Without asking any questions, you need to use the Glide Pack to quickly get him to his house in 45 seconds. The actual mission begins on a ledge with the Mayor’s house off in the distance. The only way to get to the Mayor’s house first is by gliding and swooping twice. Double jump off the ledge to get some height and swoop as you approach the two light-colored vent shafts.
After that swoop, continue gliding for a bit until you are close to his house. Do one last swoop just as you go over the street and zip up to safely land on the roof.
Mayor of the Skies

For the last time, the Mayor needs your help to meet someone for lunch because he is running late... again. How this guy ever got elected is a mystery. Still, as a hero it is your job to help all of the citizens of Metroville. You have 30 seconds to complete this mission, but it is a lot easier than the previous one. The same method of double swooping should be used, but it is a lot harder to find the target.
There is a lot more room for error on this mission and you can land on the roof or even in the alley and still have enough time to run to the target circle.
