Insects

Adephaga — Lv. 12

A beetle that mainly inhabits the Dakaav Footpath. It preys on any creature smaller than itself, and lives in a colony ruled by a queen.

Adephaga Drus — Lv. 38

Larger and more adept at fighting than a normal adephaga would be. This subspecies sprays highly acidic and viscid gastric fluid on its foes.

Adephaga Milies — Lv. 42

An exalted adephaga with an extremely tough shell. It is tasked with transporting eggs and caring for larvae in the nest.

Adephaga Prox — Lv. 57

A unique subspecies of adephaga that evolved a white shell due to spending long periods of time living in the shadows.

Adephaga Venom — Lv. 39

This type of adephaga defends itself with a potent, venomous mucus that it secretes from cracks in its shell and sprays from its mouth.

Garish Sythwa — Lv. 64

If only this humongous crab were a little more intelligent, it would realize that affixing the items it steals to its fetid shell devalues them.

Gula the Gluttonous — Lv. 34

A shape-shifting beetle that transforms into a human when hungry. Once it has stolen and gorged on enough food, it reverts to its true form.

Gust Hornet — Lv. 80

A massive wasp that lives on Faykreed. It hunts alone, but cooperates with others to defend its hive from invaders when necessary.

Hades Crab — Lv. 58

This titanic scavenger drags remains of adventurers to a subterranean grotto to feed, but it will kill when no corpses can be found.

Honeybee — Lv. 36

A large bee-like beetle mainly found on the Resulian Plains. It mostly drinks nectar, but is known to attack small animals as a protein source.

Keen-Eyed Gileegha — Lv. 12

A species of over-sized beetles that feeds off livestock. They are sensitive to humans’ presence, however, and thus are rarely ever seen.

Killer Chelae — Lv. 2

An enormous crustacean that bears a striking resemblance to a crab. Its tremendous pincers would feel nothing if they snipped a man in half.

Killer Wasp — Lv. 8

This large beetle that resembles a wasp is often found on the Resulian Plains. It is highly territorial and instantly attacks all intruders.

Lancing Hado — Lv. 28

A subspecies of monolithic wasp long thought to have disappeared from its hunting grounds to the north of Langdauq.

Polyphaga — Lv. 18

An intimidating beetle with a tough carapace and sharp horns. It usually plods along the Dakaav Footpath, but can also fly.

Polyphaga Drus — Lv. 59

This veritable king of the beetles possesses a carapace that shines so goldenly bright, insectoids everywhere are in awe of it.

Polyphaga Gamboge — Lv. 80

The shell of this ancestor to the polyphaga is a regal blue, which echoes the cruel grace with which this antiquity culls its prey.

Sanddozer — Lv. 50

A monstrous beetle that burrows deep beneath the Trei’kuran Dunes, only surfacing on rare occasions for reasons yet to be understood.

Sandeater — Lv. 30

This subspecies of desert-dwelling crab possesses a shell many times thicker than that of its marine brethren to cope with the searing heat.

Stinger — Lv. 53

A vicious and carnivorous wasp beetle that prowls the Resulian Plains. It hunts in swarms, weakening prey before carrying it back to the hive.

Wandering Ouyeits — Lv. 64

This ambulant garrison of a coleoptera spears monsters and men alike, devours them whole , and then greedily licks its mandibles clean.

Waving Pincers — Lv. 18

This gigantic crustacean attacks by upending itself, embedding the spines on its shell in the ground, and spinning at incredible speeds.
