Worried about Feria, Fidel wakes up in his Private Quarters aboard the Charles D. Goale G. Feeling obligated for the well-being of his new dependents, he resolves to do anything it takes to rescue Feria from her abductors. Mission Walkthrough
Now that you have access to your entire party, your primary concern is finding Feria and unraveling General Alma’s motives. Gather the crew to take on one more rescue operation.
How’s Relia Doing?
The first order of business is to check on Relia in the Transport Room. She and Miki can be found gazing at the stars near the west window. Head over, and they’ll volunteer to join you.
Next, visit Emmerson and Anne on the starship’s Bridge. Unfortunately, Relia walks in at a bad time and overhears a frustrated Emmerson make an insensitive remark.
Take the turbo lift to the Cargo Bay to find Relia by the dock.
After the heartbreaking sequence, you’ll be back in the ship’s Private Quarters, where Emmerson summons Fidel and the rest of the company. Take the lift to the Bridge to see what he wants. The party deduces that Feria must be in the second laboratory you’ve visited, the Symbological Facility Prime.
With control of a full party, you can use the teleporter to travel back to Faykreed to search for Feria. Before you leave, you can view new Private Actions on the Charles D. Goale G, assuming you’ve exhausted the ones prior. There are also several new side quests available at this point, most of which you can complete before venturing into the Symbological Facility Prime.

WELCH: The Beautiful and Genius Inventor, Part V
If you’ve completed all of Welch’s quests, including Behavioral Study, she’ll have one final job for you to do. Visit her in her laboratory in Myiddok to undertake the Keys to the Present in the Past mission.
The enemy that you need to defeat for the Erstwhile Ultimate Sword is in the Northern Territory of Sohma, near the Trei’kuran Dunes exit.
Defeat the Revenant Swordmaster Daeus along with its polyhedron helpers to obtain the Erstwhile Ultimate Sword key item. When you return the item to Welch, you’ll be rewarded with the Whetting and Fortification specialties, allowing you to augment weapons and armor. Congratulations on completing the entire line of Welch quests!
When you’re ready to rescue Feria, use the Communicator Model G device to teleport back to the Charles D. Goale G’s Transport Room. Then, take the transporter to the Aysoughk River Bank in Trei’kur.

Misfortuner
Your destination from the starting point is just to the west, indicated by the red star on the map. With the help of the Charles D. Goale G’s processing power, Anne easily hacks the laboratory’s security mainframe, energizing the party directly into the third basement floor.
From here, check out the main computer terminal, which is north of the large room where you fought off hordes of foes during your first visit.
Déjà vu. Enemies are alerted to your presence, so get ready to defend yourself. During the fight, a few of your party members give you a hint at where to look.
The adversaries came from the southern exit, leading down into the fourth basement floor, so head there after you clean up the Kronos troops.
On the fourth floor, you’ll notice that a new path is accessible north from the center of the map. Go down one more floor to see what Kronos is putting so much effort into protecting.
Here, you meet Raffine, a Kronos scientist who seems eager to help you find Feria.
Open up the two treasure spheres nearby, containing a CQC Program Delta disk and a copy of Swordsman’s Manual VII, then follow Raffine into the next room.
Another set of security forces soon interrupts Fidel and company.
Fafnir
These spider bots are machine-type enemies, so equip one of your damage-dealing members with the Machine Slayer role to help make quick work of them.
After you destroy the Kronos assault bots, continue north, past a hallway and into an even larger room. Three plant-type monsters called Welwitschia greet you there.
Welwitschia
As before, you can cut down these enemies more easily if you have the Plant Slayer role. These repulsive plants primarily use melee attacks, but they can also inflict poison; make sure to cast Antidote on anyone afflicted.
After taking them out, continue north for a boss battle with a mutated Manticore.
Illustrious Manticore
Your first priority should be to change your party leader to Miki and run away from the mutant.
The monster has devastating area-of-effect attacks but primarily targets Fidel. Additionally, any damage you do to it is nullified by a constant healing effect.
It’s a good idea to equip Fidel with defense-based roles like Royal Guard or Vanguard to mitigate damage. Keep him healed up with Miki’s Ex Healing spell. Eventually, Relia casts a powerful signeturgical spell, halting its healing effect and slowing it down to a crawl.
This is your chance to take the flying Manticore down. Although it’s tremendously incapacitated, it can still deal a large amount of damage around itself, so make sure that Miki is at a safe distance while you deplete its health.
You can deal more damage to it with the Mutant Slayer role, as well (it’s a Corrupt-type, although it may seem like a beast).
After you slay the Illustrious Manticore, a cutscene triggers. You’re greeted by General Alma and his villainous subordinate Thoras, with Feria in captivity.
Relia finally gets to meet her parents: a pair of scientists forced to work furtively for the Kronos government to produce humanoid clones made for war.
Unfortunately, her reunion with her caretakers is short-lived, as they’re certain that they’ll have to face inevitable consequences for their betrayal.
