Star Ocean V: Integrity and Faithlessness follows the globetrotting adventures of Fidel of Sthal and his friends. Gameplay involves exploring the countryside, undertaking various tasks, and looking for clues to progress the story. There are monsters afield to fight for EXP and Fol (the local currency), harvesting points and treasure chests to seek out for loot, and side quests in addition to the main events that place the heroes in motion. Naturally, there’s also a stock of both console-wide trophies and in-game battle trophies, which unlock as you complete many overarching objectives.
As an RPG, the game is also brimming with different items to collect and craft, and hundreds of hostile entities to seek out and subjugate. The game itself does a very good job of ramping up players to the combat and controls of Star Ocean V, so this section and several other peripheral sections serve as data reference for all of the sights and tasks in and around Resulia. The walkthrough here functions as the meat of the guide, going through every main objective and side quest of the game, including every secret and the bonus dungeons near the end.
Fidel Camuze

Although her primary practice is in curing wounds, she’s no slouch when it comes to attack-oriented spell usage.

Victor is the leader of the King’s Chosen, an elite squadron of the Central Resulian Army. His time in the military earned him training under Daril, Fidel’s father, so his fighting style closely resembles those of the Camuze men.
Although he possesses a serious demeanor, Victor values the lives of others deeply, and he only resorts to violence when necessary. With a strong sense of justice and duty, Victor is a valuable ally.
Fiore Brunelli

Fiore, also known as Lady Brunelli, is a signeturge hailing from the eastern lands. She was born and raised in Santeroule, the capital of signeturgy.
As a researcher for the Royal Institute of Signetary Studies, she’s one of the most gifted signeturges in the known world. Her proficiency is mainly in the offense-oriented arts, able to engulf her enemies in elemental destruction.
Her extravagant fashion style tells myriads about her personality and talents, with her imbued signets peeking through her leggings and mini-skirt.
Emmerson

Emmerson blends in by wielding crossbows. Eventually, though, he starts using other weaponry once the group learns more about him.

Anne is a realist and is the ego to Emmerson’s id, constantly keeping him in check.
While she earned much of her martial arts prowess from military training, Anne attributes most of her brawling skills to her grandmother. Her résumé doesn’t end with her fighting skills, either. She graduated top of her class, making her a fierce combination of brains and brawn.

Relia is a young girl dropped into Fidel and Miki’s care after a mysterious incident in the Dakaav Footpath. It becomes evident that Relia is an amnesiac with no recollection of her origins, so the group sets out to uncover the mysteries surrounding her dormant powers.
Relia is a timid little girl, but she eventually opens up to the rest of the group. As a hobby, she likes to humorously imitate her friends’ mannerisms.
Welch Vineyard

This eccentric inventor has all of the passion of inventing with none of the work ethic. She often bursts out into self-praising soliloquys that may or may not be delusions of grandeur. Regardless, she’s a valuable resource for the crew.
Gunter

Weight: 172 lb.
Gunter is the muscle of the King’s Chosen and is considered “Victor’s little brother” among the other soldiers. Unlike Victor, Gunter prefers to fight with his fists, out-muscling the opposition. Although he may seem like a meathead, he’s an extremely calculating operative. He’s part of the King’s Chosen for a reason, after all.
Hana

As a former employee of the Royal Institute of Signetary Studies, Hana is an adept signeturge and an acquaintance of Fiore Brunelli. She’s currently the supporting signeturge of the King’s Chosen, led by Victor Oakville. Though she was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she’s grown into a down-to-earth soldier.

Daks is an older member of the King’s Chosen, being almost 10 years Victor’s senior. He’s the group’s spymaster, and his work revolves around espionage and intelligence. Not only does he provide invaluable reconnaissance data, but he also provides supporting cover fire with his skills in the crossbow.
