Players are introduced to optional tasks called side quests when they either visit Welch in Myiddok or interact with a bulletin board for the first time.
Whenever there’s a new Welch quest available and the player visits Welch’s Laboratory, the quest is automatically added to the quest log.
Bulletin board quests must be accepted by pressing the Confirm button (default K) while browsing the bulletin board listing.
Most quests fall into one of two categories (item collection and monster hunting), with a third type of unique quest involving a manhunt. When undertaken, monster-hunting quests spawn uniquely named enemies in their respective areas. This means that regardless of how far into the story you are, you can still complete the quest.
Quests may also have prerequisites before becoming available, such as required progress through the main story. Some require completion of preceding quests before they appear on a bulletin board.
Completing quests rewards the player with valuable EXP, FOL, SP, and items. A few quests also unlock specialty skills, which can be purchased with SP in the Specialties Skills menu.
The following quest list is sorted by the in-game’s default quest log order (Welch’s Laboratory > Central Resulia > Santeroule > Eastern Trei’kur).

Iron can be dug up from excavation nodes. Additionally, you can find three in a chest in the Passage on the Cliffs on your way to Myiddok. Wooden Sticks can be harvested from harvesting points or bought from the material vendor in Myiddok.

This quest requires defeating two named enemies in the Dakaav Footpath. Find Tinat of the Dawning Light on a platform in between two bridges on the east side of the area.
Find Uen of the Midnight Wail at the waterfall where you previously encountered Eitalon’s Leader.

You can find pieces of Silver and Ruby at certain excavation points, such as from the mining nodes in West of the Eastern Eihieds. Sheets of Silk can be obtained from enemies or simply bought from the material vendor in Myiddok.

This quest requires the Cooking specialty leveled since you need to cook up five Bunnylicious Pies. The ingredients for the pie, Wheat Flour and Nectar, can be found at the grocer in Santeroule. Find Red Fruit and Green Fruit on enemies or obtain them from harvesting points.
