Upon reaching the castle steps, Fidel and his cohorts discover that Lady Brunelli has joined the Resulian efforts against the Trei’kuran military, which has breached the Sortevue border. If they want answers, they’ll have to make their way to the Resulian encampment and join the fray.

Mission Walkthrough
Your primary objective here is to head westbound from Central Resulia, where Daril is leading war efforts against the intrusive Trei’kuran military. At this point, you can choose to complete several optional tasks before embarking on the excursion. When you’re ready, make your way toward the Western Dakaav Tunnel.
Optional: Quests
There are several new side quests at the bulletin board in Central Resulia that you can undertake before heading off. You can complete them now before heading to the Trei’kuran battlegrounds, or save them for later.
Another optional task that you can complete is the Cathedral of Oblivion in the Resulian Plains. Like the one in the Coast of Minoz, you can get it to spawn by repeatedly entering the Resulian Plains and checking for a warp point on the in-game map. The dimensional warp point is located near the center of the plains.
If you travel back to Sthal and Myiddok (while completing the subjugation quests), you can get a few Private Actions and Welch quests out of the way. If you’ve completed her previous quests, Welch will have a new quest in her quest line called The End of Welch’s Laboratory!?. It’s recommended that you complete this quest early since it unlocks the Alchemy specialty. Alchemy allows you to create complex materials used in other crafting recipes.
WELCH: The End of Welch’s Laboratory!?
This quest consists of two named monsters in the Dakaav Footpath that need to be slain.
Tinat of the Dawning Light
One is on an island connected by two bridges in the northeastern region of the area.
Uen of the Midnight Wail
The other is hidden in the former Eitalon base, where you defeated the Eitalon’s Leader. Each of these mini bosses drops a key item that Welch requires from you.

Military Service
When you’re ready to take on the Trei’kuran forces, take the southwest exit from Central Resulia. This gate leads you to the western section of the Resulian Plains, which is divided by a tall cliff. You can drop down the cliff to get to the east half, but the only way back up is through Central Resulia’s southeast entrance.
Head toward the red star marked on your map to trigger a cutscene where Victor departs from the party to search for the rest of the King’s Chosen.
A roaring battle can be heard in the distance. Enter the valley, and help the Resulian troops fend off the Trei’kuran soldiers!
Trei’kuran Knight
Trei’kuran Sharpshooter
Trei’kuran Soldier
Trei’kuran Signeturge
Deeper into the valley, you’ll meet up with Fidel’s father, Daril, and the King’s Chosen. There’s a chest containing Physical Stimulant x 2 in a corner, southwest of where you find Daril. Save one of these curatives for the Mother’s Medicine quest.
Fight your way westward until you run into a familiar signeturge casting luminescent spells at the Trei’kuran enemies. Fiore immediately rejoins the party—a welcome addition. As the situation becomes dire, with hordes of Trei’kuran troops rushing into the battle, Relia activates her time-freezing powers for the second time, saving the Resulian army from further casualties. Smash the frozen interlopers to end the battle, forcing the rest of their reinforcements to retreat.
