This is the second quest in the Ruddle quest trilogy. Start by speaking to one of the guests in the Sultanic Slumber Lodging inn, then find one of the signeturges in the Royal Institute of Signetary Studies. Finally, you’ll find Ruddle waiting at the shipping dock in Myiddok.

You can excavate hunks of Silver from mining points around the Eastern Eihieds region, although they’re slightly rare. Early on in the main story, these may be difficult to find unless you do a lot of mining. Later on in the story, you can collect Silver by defeating golems, like the Metal Golem and Lava Golem.

You can find three copies of Solar Signets, Vol. 2 in treasure chests throughout the world. You can learn both Miki’s Volcanic Burst and Fiore’s Lightning Blast and still have one to turn in for this quest. However, if you use all of them for bonus mastery in one of those spells, you can craft the book with the Authoring specialty (Lv. 3). The recipe includes two Crystals, one piece of Parchment, three Fire Paints, and three Wind Paints.
