The story begins in the seaside village of Sthal, where a young swordsman named Fidel Camuze routinely spars with Ted, his childhood friend. While on patrol, the two companions overhear rumors from the worried townsfolk of an incoming invasion on the village. With aspirations of creating a legacy as grand as his father’s, Fidel decides to investigate the potential threat.
