Objective: Find Sardon, The Fist of Crota

Location: The Blast

The player starts in The Blast and fights Omnigul for the first time. Eris Morn guides the player through the familiar ground where the Fallen and Hive are battling each other. Eliminate them all and push forward into the Refinery. Once inside the Refinery, there are a few Acolytes performing a ritual that summons a Hive Knight known as a Blade of Crota.

Once inside the Refinery, you’ll encounter a few Acolytes performing a ritual that will summon a Hive Knight know as the Blade of Crota.

The Blade of Crota has a shield that is vulnerable to Arc damage. Destroy the Knight to retrieve his Sword of Crota. Use the Sword to defeat the remaining enemies along the path to the Grottos. Once in The Grottos, locate a floating orb and move close to it to summon the Fist of Crota.

Location: The Grottos

The only Darkness Zone in this mission begins in The Grottos. As soon as Sardon is summoned, "A Dark Burden" begins to weigh on the Guardians’ Light, stripping the players of their ability to double jump. Sardon, The Fist of Crota, is a super-charged Hive Knight that slams the ground with his sword, sending out a directional shockwave that deals heavy damage.

Circle around The Grotto, sprinting away and turning to fight Sardon when at a safe distance. Avoid the boxes in the center, or Crota’s power will begin to pollute the air, causing a poison cloud to appear on top of the player.

The first wave consists of Thrall, so use a grenade to quickly eliminate them. As more damage is dealt to Sardon, a wave of mostly Hive Acolytes makes an appearance. Dispose of them while maintaining good movement around the room. Hive Acolytes will sporadically spawn throughout the rest of the fight.

Once Sardon is eliminated, the mission ends and the player may return to the Tower to turn in the "Fist of Crota" quest. Upon completion, Eris will provide the player with 5 Black Wax Idols and 50 reputation for Crota's Bane.
