Desmond and the resistance members travel to New York. They try to get into the server room there, but Desmond passes out soon after. He’s put into the Animus, and there he links with Haytham and then later Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor), his son.
Kenway is an Assassin who is secretly working with the Templars. He meets Connor’s mother while working this way, and the two bond. Connor is born, but his mother dies and Achilles trains him to be an Assassin.
Connor grows up and works with the Patriots to stop Templar plans during the American Revolution.
Ratonhnhaké:ton (Connor)eventually confronts and kills Haytham Kenway after learning the truth about Haytham’s loyalties. Afterward, Connor goes after Charles Lee, the man he belives is responsible for his mother’s death. Connor kills Lee, and he finds a special amulet soon after.
Juno, one of the holographic strangers, tells Connor to bury the amulet.
Desmond uses this information to find the amulet in the modern day, and he opens the door to one of the temples. Juno tells Desmond to interact with a control sphere inside the temple. Minerva appears as well, but she warns that Juno is also a grave danger to the world and that the sphere will release her.
Desmond eventually uses the orb anyway, freeing Juno and dying in the process. This ends one horrible danger, but another one is unleashed.
