Shielded from a Scolding
Inside the Blacksmith’s Forge, Link finds the Captain of the Royal Hyrulian soldiers trying on a new shield. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the Captain quickly departs, pausing only to reprimand Link for oversleeping.
Before the Blacksmith can give Link a well-deserved earful, his wife realizes that the Captain left without taking his new sword. Link is in luck, because there’s no time for a scolding. The Blacksmith orders Link to bring the sword to the Captain without delay.

Errand Boy
The Captain has likely returned to Hyrule Castle, so that’s where you need to go. Luckily, it isn’t far, and the Blacksmith has even marked it on your map. Simply run east from the Blacksmith’s Forge, following the river to the castle’s stone bridge.
