Rise of the Tomb Raider eGuide Walkthrough The Acropolis

Back to the Forest

Find a Safe Path Back to Remnant Village

Create a zip line and climb to higher ground. This area is filled with pits, and Lara has to cross them in a variety of ways. The second gap is pretty sweet. You get to try out your Wire Spool, and the results are so much more fun than the name implies.

Falling isn’t always a bad thing though. Beneath the grappling area is an Explorer’s Satchel. Drop to get this so that you can find the Survival Caches in the area.

Play with your new toy while crossing the ledges in front of Lara. At the end of the climb, you find a Document (Bones of the Earth). It’s on the right side of the path.

Run to the end of the ledge and grapple toward a rockface to the north. Grab hold of it and shimmy to the right to reach solid ground.

One more grapple, onto a major vertical rockface, and you’re out of The Acropolis. The path leads you back into Geothermal Valley, where you find a Base Camp (Cliffside Lookout) and a Strongbox.

Jump, grapple, and zip line off of the cliff where you return to the valley. It’s easier than it sounds, and combining all of these techniques in a single descent is particularly cool.

Turn around and climb into a small building after you land. There is a Document (On Deer and Stags) up there. There is another Document (Spring) not much farther down the path toward the objective. If you have a Grenade Arrow left over, there is also a barricade close by with a Strongbox inside.

Look for a guard tower to the west. That has a zip line that can take you toward your next objective. Vault over toward it and grab an Archivist’s Map from the table inside. Zip down to the swamp and start your approach to the next Remnant town.

A Trinity Soldier is standing on dry land, by your next objective. Use a Takedown on him to drag the poor fool into the water to end him.
