Our final Tomb is in the Lost City. It’s easy to get to once you’ve cleared enough of the story that there aren’t Deathless all over the place. The actual location you’re looking for is a Cave on the eastern wall of the map. You go through an open field of dirt and ice, and the Cave is sitting right there staring at you.
Go in there with Poison Arrows equipped. There is a huge bear inside, and it isn’t friendly. Kill the bear with your poison and remember to skin it.
Break through the back wall of the Cave and run through a few simple tunnels. You bump into a Relic on the way.
Drop into a larger cavern even farther down. Get the Explorer’s Satchel at the bottom of the cliff, and scour the room. There is a Survival Cache across the way, and a Relic on a different wall.
Continue forward through a watery tunnel, and come out near the Geothermal Cavern Base Camp. Look for a Survival Cache almost in the fire. Dive into the water ahead and look for a submerged tunnel on your right. That leads to a room with a Survival Cache and an Archivist’s Map. Get both before you return to the last room.
A terrifying cave of fire, explosions, and poisonous gas leads toward the end of the Tomb. Use a Fire Arrow to blow up the gas long enough to get through a small room and into the puzzle area.
Get a Document while you’re in the upper tier of the puzzle room. It’s on the left. When you take the stairs to the bottom floor, loot Coins and a Document from the right side.
The puzzle takes a few steps. You have to free a cage from the water beneath you. To do this, use your Bow and Rope on two levers that are above the main floor. This lets quite a bit of gas into the room, so hurry into the water as it lowers. Use your Axes to break the cage free, and then run as fast as you can up the ramp to the upper tier.
Let Lara rest for a moment. To finish the puzzle, look for a mechanism on the lower floor using Survival Instincts. Fire at it with your Rope and twist the device so that the cage is turned much closer to a locked gate. Now that it’s ready to go, use both levers while you’re on the ramp, and hurry back up top to detonate the gas when the lower room is full of it. The explosion sends the cage reeling into the gate, breaking its way into the Codex chamber.
Go inside, loot a few minor items, and read the Codex. You master Greek Fire. Your Fire Arrows and Molotov Cocktails become deadlier and can deal damage even through armor. Nice!
