Jonah was born in New Zealand, though he was raised in Hawaii by his grandmother. He spent time in the New Zealand military, and that’s why he’s a very tough fellow when he has to be. He was discharged after being wounded in the line of service but still leads a very active life.
Jonah took a position aboard the Endurance, acting as both first mate and cook. The crash of the Endurance and the incidents that followed were harrowing for everyone aboard the vessel, though Jonah came through that nightmare far better than most. He’s still close with Lara and is more than willing to accompany her as she tries to figure out the deeper meaning of what she saw in the Dragon’s Triangle.
